1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LimeLocal ("the Service"), operated at limelocal.site and app.limelocal.site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform.
2. Account Registration
To use LimeLocal, you must create an account using Google Single Sign-On (SSO). By registering, you agree that:
- You are at least 16 years of age
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3. Service Plans
Free Plan
The Free plan includes:
- One published website hosted on a limelocal.site subdomain
- Access to all website templates
- Basic SEO features including structured data
- LimeLocal branding on published sites
Pro Plan ($19/month)
The Pro plan includes everything in the Free plan, plus:
- Custom domain support with automatic SSL
- Removal of LimeLocal branding
- Advanced analytics and visitor tracking
- AI visibility optimization (GEO features)
- Priority support
- Google Business Profile integration
Pro plan billing is handled through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
- Use the Service for any purpose other than creating legitimate business websites
- Scrape, data-mine, or programmatically access the Service without authorization
- Publish adult content, gambling, or pharmaceutical sales without proper licensing
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to LimeLocal, including text, images, logos, and business information ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant LimeLocal a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- Host, display, and distribute Your Content as part of your published website
- Generate SEO metadata, structured data, and AI-readable files from Your Content
- Create backups of Your Content for data protection purposes
This license terminates when you delete Your Content or close your account.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, templates, code, features, and branding, is owned by LimeLocal and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Service's source code or templates outside the platform
- Use the LimeLocal brand, logo, or trademarks without written permission
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LimeLocal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for any loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from your use of the Service
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LimeLocal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk
- Required by law or regulatory authority
- Your account has been inactive for more than 12 months (Free plan only)
Upon termination, your published websites will be taken offline. Deleted sites are retained for 30 days in a soft-deleted state before permanent removal.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LimeLocal operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
